CARE CALENDAR - Introduction!

Today we introduced a new system for reaching out to our church family members that have needs. As you may be aware from the Praise and Prayer Email from the church office - Darlene Crites shattered her knee while on vacation and she had surgery on May 22. She has been ordered to be off her feet for 6 weeks and not to bend her leg.  So, we have set up a "Care Calendar".  Janet Nunes is the Coordinator.

Click on the link below to get to the calendar and follow the Helper Logon instructions below!

HELPER LOGON =================================== To access Darlene Crites's personal CareCalendar site, visit the link above and enter the following information in the appropriate spaces:      CALENDAR ID      :   113755      SECURITY CODE :   4013

Please sign up to provide a meal for Darlene and her family over the next 6 weeks.

Prayer From John 17

Living Water Team

This week as Passtor Jim, Bill and Teresa Lewis (from Primetime) and the rest of the team serve in Leon - Pray for their work, their safety and health and for their interactions with the people there - that Christ, the Living Water, might be made known.

HALFTIME - WAITING ROOM

In Primetime, we have been discussing the "Halftime" of our lives.  One of the things we have been thinking on is the importance of having meaning in and to our lives.  Over the past year, I have been in God's "waiting room" as I have awaited my "appointment" if there was to be one outside of the home.

I thought I would share my most recent post on my Blog - It is my prayer that you will be encouraged to "keep on keeping on" if you are in His waiting room for something in your life to be revealed.

What To Do With An Empty Nest

FOLLOWING CHRIST THROUGH PASSION WEEK

In Primetime Bible Fellowship today (4/1/12), Debbie and Ken shared something that we could use for our personal quiet times this week or with our spouses or a friend. I thought I would share it here:

FOLLOWING JESUS THROUGH THE PASSION WEEK

SUNDAY - Read Luke 19: 28-44

MONDAY - Read Luke 19: 45-48

TUESDAY - Read Luke 20:1 through 21:38

WEDNESDAY - Read Luke 22:1-6

THURSDAY - Read Luke 22: 7-38

FRIDAY - Read Luke 22:54 through 23:55

SATURDAY - Read Luke 23:56

SUNDAY - Read Luke 24:1-35

Suggested Prayer Prompts:

Praise God for His perfect plan of redemption that included the suffering and death of His Son.

Thank God for His tears of compassion and shared sorrow for those He loves who grieve.

Intercede for those facing the ultimate tragedy over the rejection of God's love and refusal to repent.

Confess your own struggle to accept God's plan that has caused you pain.

Petition God to fill you with His Spirit so that you can forgive those who have abandoned you in your time of sorrow and suffering.
